Congratulations to Brianna on raising $550.00 for Animal Friends of Pittsburgh with her first Album, “A Touch of Christmas.” She sold 100 copies of her CD, and all of the proceeds were donated to Animal Friends. A special thank you to her teacher Sean Garee for helping her record and produce her album. Way to go!

2018 North American Comhaltas Convention The Murphy Roche Irish Music Club and School of Irish Music will be hosting the 2018 North American Comhaltas Convention from April 5 – 8. The convention, which will be held in Chicago, will be a weekend full of workshops and other events. This is a fantastic opportunity for adults and kids! Katie Grennan, along with Winifred Horan and John Williams will be perfoming next month on Saturday, February 10th at Central Catholic High School. Katie Grennan will be hosting a beginner/intermediate fiddle session, designed for violin or fiddle players that have about 2 years experience. Experienced violinists or fiddle players can register for Winifred Horan’s session – the featured musician of the weekend. She is an incredible fiddle player and best known for her over 20 years with Solas Beginner tin whistle lessons offered (no prior experience necessary!) An intermediate tune learning workshop for any instrument.
